Can I get some?!

Oh boy! How exciting it was yesterday to announce on my Merchant Wars: The Book blog that I was coming out with the book based on the most exciting action/adventure MUSH to ever exist! After all these years! It's coming soon! All I need to do is raise enough money through reader support. I've got pre-orders coming in for the book and I haven't even picked a publisher! I decided to make this into a special offer, after much marketing research I've come to the conclusion that there are enough faithful followers of the Merchant Wars Saga that the book will be directly funded by the first hundred or so lucky buyers of the book. Here's the deal: you can get Merchant Wars: The Book Limited Edition Signed by the Author, shipped directly to you, with a nice note from the author and a certificate redeemable on HSpace: Merchant Wars (the Game). I've talked with my lawyer and previous editors of my work and other colleagues, and they all agree that it is time I put the money where the mouth is! The over five hundred faithful players of the multiplayer online gaming experience known as HSpace: Merchant Wars I have to thanks for a decade of joy! I will be posting here a link to where you can buy the book ASAP.

Bloggin' on a Sunday Aftermidnight

It's been years since I've blogged. Hell the last time I blogged regularly it was just when people started calling 'em blogs instead of "web logs" or "news pages". Typically, on my profile AKA "home page" I'd have a URL to my news page, a page dedicated to stories about me by me. However, later someone decided that shortening web log to blog was a good idea, and I admit it is quite catchy but I get tired of hearing about blogs anytime I watch the news on TV. The only thing I really enjoy watching on TV is the news because its so darn funny, but the moment I hear the word blog I'm turned off. Perhaps I just don't like hearing the advertisement of blogs. Perhaps I don't want to hear about anything blog or log related on a news show where I'd rather get all the news from there. Some of these newscasters really think that their skills as a blogger matters...not really! You're a newscaster! Stick with that...please? One thing is for sure, blogs are making a difference, everyone everywhere is starting a blog about every little thing from their favorite plant to their newborn baby's diaper schedule, etc..
